Nice band from a beautiful country. I saw a great potential in their music and feel they have the right to be introduced to the world. They have 3 songs in their myspace playlist and they sound good. Sound unique and pleasant. The recording quality is not the best, but that is not a problem given the talent in them. Keep it up guys. What's up Romania!!! From my research, Grimus is certainly one of the best band in Romania. Romania have a lot of great rock bands and there will be more Romania's band to be include in this site in the future. Based in Cluj- Napoca, their line up are Bogdan (Dabija) - vocals , Cristi - guitar

Lehel - keyboards ,Vali - guitar ,Titus - bass guitar, Tamas - drums.

Muse is the words that pop put from my mouth the first time I heard their music. I think Muse is their greatest influence. Vocal is so beautiful with nice music flow or in one word-Awesome!!.

Bunch of great songs in their pocket but the best is Backseat Driver from my music point of view. It has nice intro that make you want to listen to the full song. Projection of the voice suit perpectly with the music . Great job, Grimus!!

The music of Grimus is a combination between a romanian archaic dance named Calusarii and the inspirational rear view of a grizzly bear attacking Thom Yorke.

2)Always, what are the songs all about?

They're all about the same thing, life-death, love-hate, egocentrism, fucking government lies, the traditional romanian food sarmale parachuted into the stomach swamps, looking for the sense, a reason to stay alive.

3) Who are the influences of Elis Paprika?Muse, am I right?

You're absolutely right, in fact, I think you are the first person that really understands our tormented souls. And of course, by saying Muse, you actually referred to bands like Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Archive, Placebo, God is an Astronaut, Sigur Ros, Bjork, She Wants Revenge...

4) What is Grimus greatest achievement so far?

Silversun Pickups may be well known in some countries.But, not throughout the world. That is why I chose them to feature in 4rocker.Thanks to my girlfriend for introducing me this band.Silversun Pickups is an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, comprising Brian Aubert (lead vocals, guitar), Nikki Monninger (bass, vocals), Christopher Guanlao (drums) and Joe Lester (keyboards). This band has a great personality in their music. Charm and intelligent are the the best two words to describe them. With hit songs titled Lazy Eye and Twinkles, there are great possibilities that you will like them too..You are promised some nice guitar riffs and creative drumming pattern in most of their song. Twinkles is my pick. Check it out!!

Couple is one of the hottest band in Malaysia now..Their latest album, Teenage Disc fantastic is my favourite. Every songs in their album are great and fun to listen. this album had been mastered in US. Thats why the quality was incredible. This band gonna make history in Malaysia Rock Scene. They gonna play in UK soon. So, if you're in UK , my advice is watch them and you will know how great is Malaysian music..Haha..Their song also been selected as a soundtrack to US web series called Humanzee. great achievement, isn it?

I hardly believed that such band like Coldplayers really exist. Very rare and unique. Why is it unique? Actually , they sang all Coldplay song..Great, isnt it? Sounds 90% same as Coldplay.

Killer Soap is a band from China. Listening to their music remind me of Lost Prophets. Their music style looks similar.But, of course they are not the same at all.They play a great music but personally, I think the vocal is unique. They also use a lot of mix languages.By the way, Killer Soap have the right to be praised!! Killer Soap represent China in Global battle Of The Band in Lodon last December.Although Killer Soap did not make the top 5, they were singled out for a specialmention at the awards ceremony and won considerable praise and encouragement from the judges who all agreed that China would be the country to watch at next years finals."Clearly Killer Soap have put the world on notice that Chinese bands are ready to take the world stage in rock music" said Matt Walker organiser of the Global Battle of the bands competition."The bands enthusiasm, sound and great vocals really got the judges attention" he said.
